Is it a good time to sell? Blog Transcription

Hey there! Rob Reynar here, a question I get a lot is, "is it a good time to sell?" and my answer is usually yes and I am not gonna lie to you because I don't think there's ever a bad time to put your house on the market. Okay, maybe December 23rd, alright you're gonna lose a week because of Christmas, I'll give you that but let's talk about this time of year. Let's talk about the fall season, we hear it a lot, it's not a very good time to sell because we're heading into Christmas. Well, I'm gonna take a counter approach to that, this time of year is not traditionally when people just try the listing. We don't see the fishers this time of year. We don't see the people like we do in the spring that just throw the house on the market and say, "hey honey, if we can sell it this summer we'll move". We do not see that this time of year. It is not the right time of year for that. So, that leads me to think that if a house is on the market this time of year, it needs to be there, they're not just trying it. So, I would like to list my house this time of year if I'm a seller because it's in with a bunch of houses that are serious sellers and if you value it well, you're probably going to be successful. So, yeah it's a great time of year to have your house on the market because there's not as much inventory generally and the pricing is settled out from the summer high and there are still active buyers out there this time of year. So, yes it is a good time to sell, if you are going to list your house a week before Christmas, wait till January, I get that but hey it's end of November we still have lots of sale season left. I'd Love to hear your thoughts on this, R-E-Y-N-A-R, Talk to you later, buh bye!
