Habour Landing Taking Off

The City of Regina Saskatchewan is buzzing with economic activity right now and part of that renewal in the city is Harbour Landing.

Harbour Landing Taking Off Blog Transcription

Hey there! Rob Reynar here checking in, Regina Saskatchewan this week. You remember last summer I blogged about a neighborhood called Harbour Landing, it's on the southwest corner of the city. The first new development of its kind in about thirty years here. Things were just starting to sprout out of the ground when I was here in the summer. Well things are really going now, they're just starting to work on phase two of Harbour Landing. They're pouring some foundations in the distance there. Houses are being built, occupancy permits are happening and people are moving in Harbour Landing what's really interesting for me coming from say, the Calgary-Cochrane market, is the pricing. Harbour Landing is still in some cases over half a million dollars to get in here and there is, reports of a new home going in there, around 2.2 million dollar range. So, some big money houses here on the southwest end of Saskatchewan or Regina,Saskatchewan and again a sign that there's money here. I think the big misconception is that how are these prices being sustained, well there's lots of jobs and lots of money. The retailers are doing well, clearly the builders are doing well. Habour Landing is really starting to take off. Love to hear your comments on this, R-E-Y-N-A-R, Talk to you soon, buh bye!
