Hey there, Rob Reynar here checking in. Just wanna do a quick update on the Bow Ridge Wall situation. I've had a lot of feedback on this situation both from the public and for REALTORS® wondering what's up. The information that I have been able to garner from the town of Cochrane is their position is that the wall behind those homes affected in Bow Ridge is the property of the homeowners. Therefore, ultimately it will be their responsibility when the wall is replaced. Controversial stand for sure probably not the end of the story but I do wanna thank Cochrane Mayor Trooper McBride for getting back to me via email after I had sent out a question based on some of the responses I've had from prior blogs. So, in a nut shell Stantec is recommending that the entire wall on Bow Ridge Drive be replaced. The town is saying at this point that they consider that wall to be homeowner property therefore homeowner responsibility. The town of Cochrane is saying they recommend the homeowners to talk to their insurance company as the step one. I don't know, we'll see. More to come on this story for sure.
