Disclose You Are Part Time

During a recent trip to Regina SK I discovered that their Real Estate Laws require the disclosure to clients if the Realtor they are working with is part time in the business. I think that is a GREAT idea!

Disclose You Are Part Time Blog Transcription

Hey there! Rob Reynar here checking in, how's it going? Just been a week in Regina, Saskatchewan, it was a great visit. I always love visiting there, great friends and family. A really interesting real estate fact that I learned in Saskatchewan while I was away and I this would have extreme relevance in our market and I wish that the Real Estate Council of Alberta would pick this up. They have part time designation legislation in Saskatchewan. Therefore, if you're a part time realtor, so if you're working in real estate but you're being paid from another job as well, you have to disclose that to the public on your business card for example. I think that's a wonderful legislation, I would love to see it in Alberta. I think it would be a big difference to consumers if they knew the person taking them around to look at houses or the person that they had in to try and list and sell their house was not in this business one hundred percent of the time and was a part time realtor. I would think there'd be a big difference out there if the public knew exactly who is part time and exactly who is full time. I'd love to see that legislation here in Alberta. I'd love to hear your comments on this, info@robreynar.com. R-E-Y-N-A-R, info@robreynar.com. Talk to you later, buh bye!
