CREA v BUREAU - WAIT AND SEE
Lots of people have been asking my thoughts on the settlement between CREA and the Competition Bureau. Unfortunately we don't know a whole bunch right now, and I would hate to make any wild assumptions like some have. including those in the national media.

Hey there Rob Reynar here checking in. Ok, I am going to break my silence on this CREA vs Competition Bureau settlement in quotations. First of all we really know nothing of the details of this settlement. A lot of Realtors® and a lot of media have been making wild assumptions about what's coming forward because of this settlement between Bureau and CREA. We will not know the details as a membership of this settlement until after the 13th of October when CREB meets with members of CREA. So the Calgary Real Estate Board, meeting with member of CREA, who will then detail the settlement to them, they're go to then give us the information potentially and in information meaning on the 18th of October, so not until then we will really know what we really settled on. I don't think it's gonna be vastly different then what came out last year. Somebody stings that they're happening right now is far as a thief for service or A la carte kind of thing but again until after the 18th, until we really know what's in it. We don't know what's been settled on and we don't know if its going to pass because if it is vastly different then what was announced last year, they're maybe some trouble and this can go back for another round. So hold on horses, don't make any crazy assumptions until we know more details about the actual settlement.
