March 2009 Stats are out
The latest sales stats are out from the Calgary Real Estate Board and I have done Quarter 1 for Cochrane.
There are some terrific signs that the market is balancing and still, some great deals out there for Buyer's and the increased activity is great for those wanting to make a move. It is interesting to look at how much the Median Price has changed since 2005. Here some other stats to look at.
Sales are up 32% from Feb, but still off 20% from this time in '08.
Calgary Single Family - March Median Price $375,000 down 11% from $420,000 in '08
Calgary Total MLS - March Median Price $340,000 down 12% from $386,000 in '08
Cochrane Total MLS - March Median Price $379,500 down 17% from $456,800 in '08
Again there are some really positive signs that this will be a brisk spring market!!
