Pretty crazy few hours here in Maui as a Flash Flood roared around our complex... The clean up is ongoing.

BOXING DAY FLASH FLOOD

About 2:30 this morning a flash flood rolled through the area and left a ton of debris. Hard to show in pics this swath of trees and mud! Water was so high it actually flooded into cars. Some roads are still closed around our complex as crews clean up. Power was off for a few hours as crews worked through the night.. Amazing the power of water.. They say similar rain is expected tonight...

Had a terrific morning on top of the world! I made the 43 KM journey up the volcano to the Haleakala Crater to watch the sunrise. It's a twisting and winding road, but the 1 Hour + trip is worth it!
