Cochrane Town Center 

This is the heart of Cochrane and like other inner city neighbourhoods offers that unique combination of residential and commercial properties. This is a diverse area that includes Cochrane’s main business district and the original settlement area that local residents call the “east end”. The central business district includes Cochrane’s main shopping and tourist attractions such as the famous McKay’s Ice Cream. The East End is home to some of Cochrane’s most historic properties and is undergoing a renaissance as many home owners are renovating their older homes and bringing them up to new standard. Old homes are also being replaced with new homes on large inner city lots bringing up the appeal of the entire area. There is also a wide variety of prices and property styles from apartment style condos to executive walkout Bungalows.
