West Valley, West Terrace, West Pointe Estates

West Valley and West Terrace was part of the big boom for Cochrane in the 90’s when the town went from a little know bedroom community of Calgary to being the hottest destination in the country for those relocating the area. Cochrane’s population doubled in short order in the 90’s and West Valley / West Terrace was a key contributor. With a very diverse array of homes, this area offers something for everyone. Starter 1/2 duplexes to million dollar walkouts with breathtaking Bow River locations. West Valley / West Terrace is also home to Mitford Middle school, The Bethany Care Centre and Mountain View Terrace, a popular 55+ apartment building. West Pointe is another superb new neighbourhood currently being constructed. Located at the end of Quigley Drive to the west of West Terrace. West Pointe offers unique access to the Bow River. New home builders such as Kingsmith Custom Homes are currently working with home buyers in there area. West Pointe is a small intimate area that is very popular with families.
